Announcement of Taproot Wizards Auction
According to the announcement from the Bitcoin Ordinals project Taproot Wizards, its Bitcoin Ordinals series Taproot Wizards launched a Dutch auction at 11:00 PM Taiwan time on March 27, selling out in less than an hour.
Auction Details
This bidding event featured only 80 Taproot Wizards for auction, and participants could join using the Phantom wallet via SOL or by preloading BTC. The starting price was set at 0.42 BTC (approximately 260 SOL), decreasing by 0.01 BTC every three minutes. The team stated that all remaining Taproot Wizards have been sold, with the final settlement price at 0.31 BTC, which will be distributed to the winning bidders’ minting wallets around 10 PM on the 28th.

Due to the support for SOL in this auction, Solana co-founder Toly Yakovenko changed his personal avatar on the social platform X to an image styled after Taproot Wizards.
