According to previous reports, the Criminal Investigation Bureau of New Taipei City has uncovered a virtual currency fraud case led by a man surnamed Pan, the former head of the Taiwanese cryptocurrency exchange “ACE Ace Exchange,” and his partner, a man surnamed Lin. According to police investigations, Lin and Pan have deceived over a hundred investors in the past three years using false advertisements to invest in worthless virtual currencies such as MOCT, NFTC, and BNAT. The amount involved in the case is estimated to be as high as 1 billion New Taiwan Dollars.
