BingX Charity has donated 1 billion Vietnamese Dong to assist in the reconstruction efforts in northern Vietnam following Typhoon Mocha. In response to the disaster, BingX launched a fundraising campaign on September 12, 2024, pledging to donate 400 million Vietnamese Dong to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee. This donation aims to provide much-needed assistance to those affected by the typhoon, subsequent floods, and landslides. BingX’s fundraising efforts, combined with generous contributions from the public, have played a crucial role in delivering immediate relief to disaster victims. The funds will be used to rebuild communities, restore infrastructure, and provide basic necessities for families who have lost their homes and livelihoods.
To further support the victims of Typhoon Mocha, BingX also initiated a matching donation campaign. For every 1,000 Vietnamese Dong donated by the public to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, BingX pledged to match that amount. This campaign concluded on September 17, raising the total donations to 1 billion Vietnamese Dong, of which 600 million Dong came from BingX’s matching donation program and 400 million Dong from BingX’s initial donation.
In addition, BingX organized a charity event on September 18 to promote the spirit of unity and sharing. This event will take place in Bao Nhai commune, Bắc Hà district, Lao Cai province, where 230 charity packages will be distributed to local residents. This region is difficult to access due to its rugged terrain, making post-disaster reconstruction challenging and limiting rescue efforts. The charity supplies were prepared based on recommendations from local authorities and include essential goods to ensure they meet the community’s actual needs. BingX hopes that this event will not only provide material assistance but also inspire local residents to regain confidence and support them in overcoming current difficulties, spreading love and the brilliance of humanity.
