Airdrop worth 15,000 USD
Next airdrop opportunity?
Solana ecosystem protocol Jito, which combines liquidity staking services and anti-MEV functions, distributed JTO tokens last night. After Coinbase and Binance exchanges announced listings before issuance, the opening price performance far exceeded expectations, with the JTO price rising all the way.
At the time of writing this article, the JTO token price was around 3 USD, calculated based on the “lowest tier” airdrop quantity for JitoSOL users. The token airdrop value is also close to 15,000 USD, with a total of 4,930 eligible individuals becoming one of the largest airdrops in recent times.
Benefiting from the recent surge in Solana’s popularity, the price performance of ecosystem projects after issuance has been quite impressive, leading more and more people to seek other potential token airdrop opportunities in the ecosystem. The highly discussed DeFi protocol Kamino Finance in the Solana ecosystem is considered one of the projects that will distribute airdrops in the future.
According to Defillama data, the total locked asset value of Kamino priced in SOL has increased by approximately 550,000 SOL in the past month.
In addition, a Kamino Finance project contributor named Marky revealed last night on Twitter Spaces that Kamino is about to launch a points program for future token distribution. While the specific details of the points program have not been disclosed, the community generally believes that interacting with functions such as lending, providing liquidity, yield treasury, leverage, etc., with the protocol will likely increase points.
In addition to Kamino, other protocols such as marginfi, Tensor, Parcl, Meteora, Drift Protocol, etc., have also been included in the community’s list of potential airdrops.
